Beef Casserole is a classic casserole dish served in the UK. It is made from stewing steak and vegetables, cooked in the oven for 2 to 3 hours, and best served with crusty French bread to mop up the beef gravy. You can also add dumplings to this beef casserole by following this dumpling recipe.

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 pint beef stock
